Kinnairdy Castle (Bridge of Marnoch)
Situated at Bridge of Marnoch (between Turriff & Keith, Aberdeenshire), Kinnairdy is a fine tower house dating back to the mid 15th century. Originally built by the Innes family, it was the 17th century home of the Gregorys, an academic family who produced 12 professors including David Gregory, the inventor of the barometer. The castle is now, once again, owned by the Innes family.
