Information received from The Lord Lyon King of Arms. Register entry (Vol.1 Page 173)
dated 1670
"The right worshipfull Sr. George Kinnaird of Inschture bears two coats
quarterlie first gules a saltire betwixt four crescents or be the name of Kinnaird. Second
gules three starrs argent be the name of Kirckaldie of Inschture. Third is the second, the
fourth as the first. Above the shield ane helmet befitting his degree mantled gules
doubled argent. Next is placed on ane torse for his crest a garland of Laurell proper. The
motto in ane Escroll 'Qui patitur vincit'. "
